*New Inspiration*

I am always searching for new inspiration. I kind of seem to get side tracked with balancing life these days. But at work the one thing that keeps me going is that I listen to different cities radio stations. My favorite is V103 in Atlanta, Georgia. I guess I like listening to these different stations because I imagine I'm in a different city and plus I love their DJ's and the Frank and Wanda Morning Show.

While listening I kept hearing a commericial for some stage play based on a book called "Secret Society" by Miasha. I heard the young lady in commercial refer to herself as the "Female Tyler Perry" so I thought to myself. She's gotta be famous or something and why haven't I heard of her if she's a writer?!

Well anyways thank goodness for google! I looked up Miasha and immediately found her bio and saw that she was only a year older than me and has written 5 books already.
WOW!

I've found my new inspiration. I love to find those I can find inspiration in, especially the ones who are my age. It gives me hope that one day I can be a published author as well!

Some Monday's Are Monday-er

I had a professor in school once who told me once when I was late to class, I'm guessing it was a Monday, I don't know......But he said with a sly grin, in his Indian accent "Some Monday's are Monday-er, eh?" I never will forget that. He seemed to understand me and it was probably why he had a 2'o clock class instead of 8am.

Today was one of those days! After having to much fun this weekend and not enough rest I struggled to get my little behind out of bed this morning. While my alarm sounded to the tune of "PYT", I quickly shut if off in hopes that it was still maybe Sunday morning again instead of Monday morning.

Anyone who knows me knows me knows I am far far from a "morning person", which is why I now have a morning coffee habit, that goes all the way back to college and taking an 8am class (which is a whole other story). Anyways the morning seemed to go ever so slow and by the time lunch hit I was still sleepy and ready to go home.

Anywho...

I finally made it through the day! Got home and made some awesome chicken spaghetti, which was really good for my first attempt...... if I must say myself!

Sorry to be so short, but it looks like my sorry attempt to go to bed early has failed again.

Oh well.......

SHE'S BACK!!!!

Ok, I feel horrible for not keeping this blog up for the last.....what has is been.....like 4 months! A lot has happened since then and OH MY have I missed my blog and the responses I get.

Don't get me wrong though I had stopped writing for a fairly good reason. I was planning my own wedding, on a really tight budget. So basically I did a lot myself.
I don't regret it because everything turned out exactly how I wanted it because guess what????? I made just about everything all myself, with help of course from family.

I had been so busy these last couple of months!! I had no idea wedding planning is so much! Word to the wise ladies....if you are going to plan your own wedding be PREPARED and ask for help!

Whew! Now that I have that little story out of the way, now I am faced with another slight dilemma-I've been writing like crazy.

I know this doesn't sound like a problem, but it is..........

I've been writing so much now I don't know which direction to go in........

I love blogging! I really do! But another passion I have found is writing short stories, songs and poetry.

I think I might end up sharing these on here or creating another blog just for those kinds of prose.

What are your thoughts?

Rhianna & Chris

The whole world's talking about it so let me put me two sense in.....

First off, all I'm going to say is that no man should ever put their hands on a woman in anger! I saw the video of them supposedly back together. Now, I couldn't really distinguish if it was both of them or not getting off that plane, but I wish them the best. What he did to her face was horendous. Hopefully, she will heal up nicely but I would be thinking "What If He Does This To Me Again?". Please pray for both of them. Unless you know them personally, we the public may really never know the whole story unless it comes from them personally.

The Re-Inspired Wedding Planner

I have been so busy and lazy lately. But I also have had a block of some sort. More or less kinda like I know what to write about, but theres so much I could cover I don't know where to start.

I have been planning my wedding, dealing with difficult parents and soon to be in-laws which have insued several arguements with my beloved which most of you know can be a real downer. Right now though,I am a great big ball of emotions. I am anxious, excited, scared and happy all at the same time. Now, that's a whole lot of emotions to put together in one little young lady, LOL.

Also, planning a wedding hasn't seemed to be as easy as I thought it would be in the beginning when we first got engaged. Planning isn't the problem though I guess it's been more or less coordinating.

Enough about me for now.........

I missed you all though! I was sad to hear one of my favorite bloggers Ashley has been sick. I feel kind of bad I haven't been on here to blog lately. So hopefully, with all this "jazz" going on with me right now I can get back to being consistant again and hearing from you.....my readers, which I LOVE just as much as writing.

Respect Others Decisions

What if you were in a situation where you had given your decision on an issue and felt so strongly about it that you weren't going to change your mind.

This is a decision that wasn't putting anyone in danger or harming yourself or other but the other party involved didn't respect your decision at all and got very upset because you didn't agree with the way they wanted to do something?

Would you feel pressured to change your decision? Or stick to your guns?

What would you do?

1988

1988 is definitely a album that needs to get recognition!!!!

Rapper/Producer Craig Smith is one of my peeps that's really out here doing something and contributing to hip hop in not only KC, but internet wide as well.

With his latest release entitled "1988" he gives a closer feel and look into his personality and diversity as an artist and producer. I don’t think you can fake this kind of talent. With his tracks "Money Maker Mitch" advertising a product from the emphamous Hatin’ Tony and the track "Michael Jackson" mocking rappers and then saves the serious track “Rock Bottom” for last.

There are some diverse lyricist out there, but his style and diversity as an artist has progressed into something incredibleand is destined for greatness if he keeps it up. Bangin' tracks "Movin" to Juelz Santana's Clockwork track and the title track "1988", a track I've seen performed on BET Rap City in the booth Mr. Smith went hard on the track giving a brief explanation of what the CD's about.

"1988" promises to have something that everyone will like, love, or laugh to. I haven’t heard a album that is this funny, real, true or that I could relate to in a long while. Big ups Mr. Smith keep doing yo’ thang, I loved it. When’s the next album coming out?

"KC STAND UP" rating ====== A+
